CHAMP/GEAR UP 2019 Summer Program

During the summer students participated in team building activities, academic and speciality classes such as music, dance and engineering.  Residential students stayed on campus and lived as college students.

CHAMP students and counselors setup the campsite at Belle Plain State Forest for and
prepare for an overnight stay in the woods. During their visit CHAMP students learned about the elements of nature (Earth, Wind, Fire and Water), compass orienteering, team building exercises, and performed skits from summer book readings.
